E-Sarn Trip

Chaiyabhum

Before I started a new chapter of my life (work)... I decided to have a short trip in my beloved country (Thailand) with my beloved family...

My destination was the legendary area in Thailand called -- E-sarn...

The first place that we visited is Chaiyabhum, a city that riches in nature. Especially during July to August...

Pictures above and on the right is me with my family enjoy climbing the strange rocks.

After that, we went to see the beautiful fields of "Kra-Jiew" flowers in the nearby area.

The weather was not excellent that time (we experienced a little rain). Anyway, it was good to touch a nature without the (other) tourists around.

The place was very well organised. There is a nice walk way through many area of the beautiful fields. I was glad to be there :)

Our next stop was the area called "Sud Phaen Din", which is a natural border between the middle region and the north-earthern region (in Thailand)...

As you can see from the picture, this place is only 370m from "Kra-Jiew" flower fields.

Anyway, we have to walk up-hill a little bit from here.

There we were, very closed to the clift.. Anyway, it was foggy and slipperly (due to the rain in the morning). So, we decided not to get too close to the clift because it was very high & scary... The view was excellent. It made me feel like travelling in Swizerland's mountain once again for a short while...

The fog has created an unexplainably mystical view
that simply stun all the visitors with its natural beauty...

We were very happy being there. It has been a long long time that I haven't been home and travelling together. My five years gap of being aboard had been fulfilled.

It was great to be in the good place(s) with family, wasn't it?

The next day, I drove my father's car to visit one waterfall -- the Tard-Ton natural forest. This is quite an exciting trip because I have just got a driving license one month before that time. Luckily that we all arrived there safe & sound (^_^).

Anyway, that was not a season to see the waterfull (not much water there) but it wais fun for us climbing the rocks to reach the nice-view point around there :)

There are not many photos of my dad (because he loved to be a photographer). So, I'm glad to have this shot with him & my mum because it looks so lovely :)

Nakorn-Rajchasrima (Korat)

Then, we continued our journey to another city... Nakorn-Rajchasrima...

Our first destination is "Prasart-Hin Nang Rum" which was once an old castle of the ancient kings in this region...

and aren't led by the senses.

Our next destination is the famous "Prasart-Hin Pi-my" (I'm sure that I didn't write its spelling correctly))

This castle is very beautifully re-constructed in a good shape. We went to visit both the museum and the castle itself.

There aren't much tourists that day. I think it is our good choice because we travelled in the weekday :)

We walked freely around the area... Seeing around I was very impressed and learnt a lot about its glory in the past...

A lot of affords were there to revive the story and its glorious in the past back again.

Picture below is a capture of Ban Prasat Archeological Site...

Bureerum

The next day, we went to see the other castles in another city called "Bureerum". The first castle is "Prasart-Him Muang-Tum" which is small but quite well-organised in my opinion...

you will never truly be fulfilled.

you will never be happy with yourself."

Then, we went to visit one of the most famous sand-rock-castles in our country... "Prasart-Hin Pranom Rung" << Unseen Thailand...

There are two famous things in this catle. First is the fifteen doors that let the sunlight went throught in early spring (i.e. early April) to warship the ancient God (on the right)

Second, is the used-to-lost beautiful carved sand-stone on the arch of the main entrance... "Thab-Lhung-Narai-Bun-Tom-Sin".
